Elyon’s Lake
El-Elyon means “the most high” and it is the name of God in The Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker… well it’s actually four books hahah but yea. Anyways, I was just thinking of the scene in the book that I absolutly LOVE. There is a lake and it’s called Elyon’s Lake, basically its LITTERALLY THE LIVING WATER OF CHRIST. And It just makes you think, imagine swiming in the very presence of God himself!!!! The experience would be indescribeble!!!! Here’s a small section of the scene, READ THE BOOKS IF YOU HAVENT!!!! The first part is Elyon speaking to Thomas who had dived into the lake.
” I see you, Thomas. I made you. I love you”
